We traveled to where the beginning of the implantation of Algarve wine, whose roots are based on fragments of Phoenician amphorae.

Brought from the east by Phoenician travelers centuries ago, it carries the entire history of a sea, making the placidity of an estuary its destination.
The vineyard occupies a slope exposed to northerly winds, which allows for large daily temperature variations. Located on the banks of the Arade River, it benefits from a Mediterranean climate with an Atlantic influence, with the vineyard being trained upwards with heel pruning, in a limestone clay soil in which the weight of history gathers.

A refuge area centuries ago, transformed into exclusive landscapes of quality vineyards, made from both red varieties such as Alicante Bouschet, Touriga Nacional or Cabernet Sauvignon, and white varieties, Alvarinho, Arinto and Sauvignon Blanc.

Each guided tour provides a journey through the processes of time and the dedication of the harvest.
Here you will find a flavor narrative, which begins with walks through the vineyards and ends with a tasting of 2 vintage wines and 3 premium wines, accompanied by
sausages, cheeses and preserves from the region.
